Drinking Doves Fountain

Fountain in Janko Kráľ Park is officially called Drinking Doves.
Fountain was built in 1982 and comes from Žiar nad Hronom from Foundry Factory ZSNP. It is made from silumin, alloy of aluminum and silicon. Fountain is placed in 15 meters diameter pool. Nozzles that sprayed water in summer to 5 meters height are hidden in the bottom of the pool. Three doves measure 4,5 meters.
Statue is designed by sculptor Ambróz Balážik and this work of art was built by Arpád Katona, J. Tužinský, B. Schneider and J. Páleník.
