Church of St. Elizabeth - Blue Church

Church of St. Elizabeth began to build in 1909 and was opened in 1913. Church had originally a yellow color, but later was repainted to a beautiful blue color. This color was the reason for naming it by folk name - Blue Church. 
 
Blue Church is a work of architect Edmund Lechner, who also designed a high school building Grösslingová, which stands next to this church.
 
Church of St. Elizabeth was declared as a national monument in 1963. It makes the Bezručova street special one for many years.
